But the things have changed now and we can enjoy summer as we do in other seasons. Just follow some ground rules and you can welcome this summer with a happy face.
Our body sheds lots of skin cells per day, so if we don’t remove dead skin cells, these cells accumulated on the skin leads to give you dull and dry look. So it is very important to do exfoliation at least twice a week. So just a grab a scrub for body and face and apply it for glowing healthy skin. Apply it on entire body in circular motion for 2-3 minutes and rinse clean.
Many people think that body lotions are only for winter season. But in summer also your skin need hydration. Unlike winter season don’t apply thick and heavy moisturizing cream, it will take more time to absorb on the skin. Instead use light fruity smell body lotion like gel for oily skin, water based moisturizer for normal skin and for excess oily and acne pro skin, use facial spray which will easily get absorbed in body and will feel you fresh for the whole day.
As we already know summer season brings lots of sweat cause water loss, dullness along with dryness of the skin. So drink minimum 8-10 glasses of water per day. Eat fruits like watermelon, muskmelon, grapes, lime juice, fruit juice, coconut water etc.
Choose sunscreen according to your skin type. Apply it on your face and your body half an hour before going out. If you are staying for long time in sun then reapply it every 2 hours. Apply lip balm and lip gloss with SPF 15 which keeps your lips fresh and tan free.
Lemon and tomatoes are very useful during summer. Application of tomato juice on face, gives you soothing effect .it also keep your skin fresh and removes tan naturally. Use this tomato juice as a natural scrub for alternate day, as lycopene in tomato, act as wonder for facial skin. You can freeze tomato juice in ice tray, and can use it for alternate day. Application of curd for 10-15 minutes on all over the body prevent dryness of skin.
